Water Has Nowhere To Flow - I & II   is a journey—my first music project. I spent quite some time figuring out that period in my life, reflecting on my thoughts and everything that happened in my own growth. As a female, queer person focused on art and design, living in a straight world wasn’t easy. It meant putting in a lot of effort to talk with my parents, friends, colleagues, and even a few strangers to protect myself. To be honest, I was annoyed by having to improve something again and again. I just wanted to hide myself until I could step outside again and face the world.

 

In the blink of an eye, I found myself in Europe—a world far from my hometown. But here’s some good news: I’m preparing the third track for this project. I have no idea when you’ll see it—maybe even three years later, haha. But let’s keep in touch, keep following Yu Du in the future if you’re curious about this curvy (cute) aka blue person—who they are and what they do.
